Why Dr. Raman is your favorite character

I'm not sure he is my favourite character but I can comment on him. Dr. Raman is featured in the third short story in the collection: "The Doctor's World". Dr. Raman is a man of science, and always tells the truth. He sees no point in being more pleasant and positive than what the facts would. However, as his close friend falls deadly ill, he begins saying positive things to help him, even though he knows it wouldn't help. However, his friend survives, to the surprise of Dr. Raman.
